Our goal
Raised by Achi people at home and abroad, for the festival and for a legacy every community will use. Every Naira in and out is published on this site.
Example figures. This preview shows sample entries so you can see how the public ledger works. None of these are real gifts.
The public ledger opens with the Treasury’s first entries.
The festival
Oga-Aga-Agwu-Agwu is Achi’s great gathering, held every three years at Obu Achi, the seat where tradition says our father Achi settled and raised his sons. It exists to remind us of our strength when we come together, reason together and act as one.
The 2027 edition opens the new year. All twelve communities, our elders, our women and youth, and our sons and daughters from across Nigeria and abroad come home to Obu Achi Square on New Year’s Day.

The legacy
The Finance Sub-Committee recommends that the legacy of this festival be the Achi Water Grid: pipe-borne water from a hilltop scheme in every community, piped along our major roads to every hamlet and, in time, every home.
Recommended to the Central Planning Committee; decision pendingIn every community
Each community chooses its highest point for a borehole, a solar pump and storage tanks, so water flows downhill without diesel.
Along major roads
Main pipes follow our major roads. Hamlets connect to them, then extend the pipe to homes.
For the long run
A community-owned board runs, repairs and pays for the grid, so it still works when our grandchildren inherit it.
